Class 1 Driver (U.S)

The Opportunity: XTL Transport Inc. is looking for a dynamic Class 1 Driver to join our outstanding U.S division based in Vaudreuil or Quebec. At XTL, we understand the importance of our customers and their satisfaction. 1 Schedule available:
Schedule: 5 to 6 days per week , weekend shift starting on Thursday to Monday
Requirements:
- Must have valid Class 1 License - mandatory
- 1 year of Class 1 driving experience/ 6 months CFTR experience - mandatory
- Clean Drive Abstract - preferred
- Clear Criminal search – mandatory

Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive tractors and move freight in a safe and responsible manner assigned by XTL Transport Inc. , while in compliance with all laws and transportation regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.
- Maintain compliance with XTL Transport policies and procedures, while working safely.
- As an XTL Driver Ambassador, establish and maintain positive working relationships with the primary contacts at each account
- Complete all necessary paperwork fully and accurately
- In collaboration with the dispatch team, get the opportunity to drive dedicated routes
- Able to keep an activities e-log and log hours efficiently
- Maintain a positive attitude towards customers
- Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
