XTL Transport Inc is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator!
Location: Surrey, BC | Full-Time | Department: Human Resources Are you looking to grow your HR career in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? We’re seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who is organized, eager to learn, and excited to support both people and operations in the world of transportation, distribution, and warehousing. In this role, you’ll be an essential member of our HR team—coordinating recruitment, supporting onboarding, maintaining HR records, and helping ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace for all employees.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
What You’ll Be Doing: HR Support & Administration
Create job postings, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking
Prepare onboarding documents and coordinate new hire orientations
Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, and internal databases
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team and terminal manager
Recruitment & Onboarding
Support recruitment efforts for drivers, warehouse associates, and administrative staff
Help collect and verify candidate documentation and certifications
Coordinate background checks, reference calls, and pre-employment processes
Compliance & Health & Safety
Assist in maintaining compliance with WCB and employment standards
Help track training certifications and health & safety documentation
Chair the Health and Safety monthly meetings
Employee Experience
Be a go-to contact for employee questions and document requests
Support HR-led events, recognition programs, and feedback check-ins
Help foster a workplace culture of inclusion, accountability, and respect
What You Bring:
A Degree in Human Resources or a related field
1–2 years of experience in an HR or office coordination role (transport/logistics industry is a plus)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience with recruiting is a strong asset
Excellent attention to detail and comfort with handling confidential information
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
A willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
Must be willing to travel and work between our Surrey and Delta locations as needed
