The Opportunity

XTL Transport Inc. is currently GROWING and we are seeking Class 1 Part-Time Domestic Drivers to join our Airdrie team.

This role involves:

Sunday evening loads within Alberta

Please note: These positions may lead to full-time opportunities as they become available.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
Minimum 2 years of long-haul experience (Canada-wide or Canada/U.S.)
Experience driving through at least two consecutive winter seasons
Reefer experience and basic mechanical knowledge
Clean Driver’s Abstract:
- Zero moving violations (e.g., speeding)
- Fewer than 5 demerits
- Ability to provide a 10-year commercial abstract from all provinces where a Class 1 license has been held
Availability to work Sunday evenings
Commitment to working at least one shift per week

Compensation

$28.12/hour for Alberta regional runs (Edmonton, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, etc.)
$0.54 per mile for Grande Prairie & Saskatoon overnight runs
Weekly pay via payroll
Paid wait time (hourly rate)
Fully paid training:
- 2 days in-class + 3 days in-cab
- Must be available to attend all 5 days
Modern fleet of newer International trucks (renewed every 3–4 years)
